Unfortunately, there are many people like that Karen at churches. Many of them quote scripture that backs up their points, so they feel justified that God wants them to do something. They have a prayer session, and believe they've received the right answer. I also know christians who don't believe in getting the vaccine, because Jesus will protect them. These people are misguided, and they feel safe in their numbers.
