This struck a nerve. Ageism is alive and well. Do they ever stop to think that a women is in pain, hence the complaining? How many stories do you hear where doctors prescribe anti depressants for women with undiagnosed legitimate physical complaints? And complaining is not limited to older women! Older women don’t like to complain. There is usually a reason. Patients of all ages deserve empathy for their suffering.
