I love the Bronte sisters. Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre are two of my favorite books. The atmosphere of play is more important in childhood than people realize. My children sat down at the piano when they were two years old and just played around on it. It was a fun thing we did. I'd show them how to play the melody of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star one note at a time and then left them to play whatever they wanted. They all grew up to be quite talented musicians and singers.

Books , writing and art were considered fun things to play at, and they all love those things too.
